In accordance with the relevant provisions of the Law of the People's Republic of China on Environmental Impact Assessment and the Measures for Public Participation in Environmental Impact Assessment (Decree No. 4 of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment), in order to safeguard the legitimate environmental rights and interests of the public, promote and standardize public participation in environmental impact assessment activities, and enable the wider public and social organizations to understand and participate in environmental impact assessment of construction projects, the wave of submission and approval is now under discussion.
