"The Republic is red. It cannot be diluted."
"Whether in the history of the Chinese nation or in the history of the world, this is a touching struggle epic." On March 4, when visiting members of the literary, artistic and social sciences circles who participated in the CPPCC meeting, Xi Jinping talked about the 70-year history of New China.
Xi Jinping was very emotional about the birth of New China. He said, "Shanghai Shikumen, Nanhu Red Ship, the birth of the Communist Party of China, 14 years of anti-Japanese war and historic decisive war, only the People's Republic of China." Don't forget the beginning, you must always! "
What is our first intention? "The Republic is red and cannot be diluted. Countless martyrs have bloodstained our flag. It is absolutely impossible for us to build a republic for which they aspire, struggle and sacrifice. We can't be mistaken by singing and dancing, and we can't sing the backyard flowers across the river. Xi Jinping said that it was absolute.
He also raised the hope for the social science circles in the literary and artistic circles: to solve the practical problems, it is impossible to rush to the doctor and worship foreign affairs. We need to make things clear in China and keep a good pulse. We can't do without grounding gas. How is China? What constitution is it? The heart should be bright and clear.
"Thoughts of hard struggle and thrift can never be lost"
On March 5, when participating in the deliberations of the delegation of Inner Mongolia, Xi Jinping stressed eight words in particular: "Hard struggle, diligence and thrift".
Xi Jinping knows that "hard work and thrift are not only an important guarantee for our development and growth, but also an important guarantee for us to carry forward the future and create brilliance".
He has repeatedly stressed the importance of this idea. In his view, "whether we can persevere in the spirit of hard struggle is a major event related to the success or failure of the Party and the people's cause". He stressed the importance of "inheriting the spirit of hard struggle from generation to generation". He demanded that efforts be made to make strict economy and oppose waste prevail in the whole society.
During the deliberations of the delegation of Inner Mongolia, he talked about the dialectical relationship between "tight days" and "good days": the Party and the government took the lead in living tight days, in order to make a good life for the common people. He also quoted an old saying: "Eat endlessly, wear endlessly, plan not to be poor forever."
"No matter what level of development our country has reached, no matter how far people's lives have improved, the idea of arduous struggle and thrift can never be lost." At the special node of the 70th anniversary of the founding of New China, Xi Jinping's remarks make people look back and move forward.
"To think about the source of drinking water, we must never forget the people of the old Soviet Area."
"This year marks the 70th anniversary of the founding of New China. If we want to think about the source of drinking water, we must never forget the people of the old Soviet Area." On March 10, Xi Jinping emphasized this when the Fujian delegation participated in the deliberations.
In his view, the red earth of the old and Soviet areas gave birth to revolution and the older revolutionaries, and made great contributions to the cause of liberation of the Chinese people. To forget these is to forget the origin.
Because of the deep degree of poverty, the high cost of poverty alleviation and the difficulty of poverty alleviation, the old revolutionary areas, ethnic minority areas, frontier areas and concentrated areas with special difficulties have long been the shortcomings of poverty alleviation. Xi Jinping is very clear on this point, and requires leading cadres at all levels to "ensure that none of the old Soviet areas will fall behind in the process of building a well-off society in an all-round way".
At the two sessions this year, Xi Jinping's delegations from Inner Mongolia, Gansu, Henan and Fujian all talked about poverty alleviation and fortification work, and issued a mobilization order: never win, never retreat! For the old Soviet areas, his requirements are very meticulous, "to sort out the investigation, grasp the work", "to adhere to precise poverty alleviation, precise poverty alleviation, find the root causes of the problem, and enhance the effectiveness of poverty alleviation measures".
With a view to speeding up the development of the old Soviet Area, he further demanded that leading cadres at all levels should not only "have a stubborn style of fighting without fear of fatigue and continuity", but also have a long-term vision and do more articles to promote the coordination of economic development and ecological protection.
